Become a Hospice West Auckland Volunteer

Volunteering is a rewarding & empowering way to make a difference to someone’s life that can help give meaning to yours.

At Hospice West Auckland, we interact with people from all walks of life, so your life experience and knowledge may be just what we’re looking for.

Time is one of the most precious things we can give each other. Often just having the time to make a cuppa for a patient, chat with a family/whanau member, or help at one of our Hospice Op shops can make all the difference to our organisation, and the people in it. You may like to be behind the scenes or only have limited time to give; your generosity will still be highly valued by our team. There is room for everyone on our volunteer team.

All of our volunteers attend an orientation to Hospice programme and we provide specialist training in specific areas when required.
